After the release of the 2015 Telstra Premiership season draw on Monday, Bulldogs.com.au has taken a look at some of the feature matches and spoken to key players.

A new addition to the fixture list is the Queen’s Birthday long weekend match against the St George Illawarra Dragons in Round 13 on Monday, 8 June. The NRL have always scheduled a match on the Monday night but with the much more family friendly time of 4pm to round out the long weekend a bumper crowd is expected at ANZ Stadium.

New recruit Brett Morris would have already faced his former side back in Round 6 but in what will be the first chance for members to be in their own seats when we take on the ‘red v’ it will be a mouth-watering encounter.

“I’ve only ever played at one club before but now I have moved here, it’s definitely the first thing I looked at, when we would play the Dragons,” Morris said.

“It’ll be a great afternoon. Hopefully a big crowd will turn up with a lot more blue and white out there than red and white.

“It’ll be a weird feeling running out against the old side but it’s something that I’m really looking forward to.

“There is definitely a rivalry there. Being our home game in round 13 and a long weekend for everyone, hopefully the members and fans will get out and support the side.”
