Young Bulldogs David Klemmer and Josh Jackson both played strong rolls in the Aussies domination over Toa Samoa 44-18 in Wollongong on Sunday.

The Aussies came out firing with an impressive five tries including one to Bulldog David Klemmer who earned the players player for the match.

Klemmer looking to cement a regular spot in the young side was impressive with 12 runs for 159m, completing 26 tackles as well as one linebreak and one tackle bust.

Josh Jackson who was limited to just 29 minutes of game time also looked dangerous with five runs for 33m, completing 12 tackles.

Toa Samoa were not going out of the competition without a fight with the Island nation posting three tries and Bulldog Timoteo Lafai, converting at 100%.

Lafai, who stayed on the park for all 80 minutes made 12 runs for 92m, with two tackles busts, eight made tackles and one offload.

Other Bulldogs efforts include Frank Pritchard who made nine runs for 93m and made 13 tackles; as well as Reni Maitua who put in a brave performance with three runs for 27m and 15 made tackles.
