The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs today launched the 2015 Born&Bred Membership campaign video, highlighting the characteristics that Bulldogs fans are renowned for, loyalty, pride, resilience and family.

The Born&Bred campaign epitomises what it means to be a Member of the Bulldogs. It encompasses the full length and breadth of support for the Club, which was highlighted in the lead up to this year’s Grand Final when the streets of Belmore have been alive with Club passion.

The video captures the passion and anticipation of both players and fans, using real match day footage, from pre-game preparations to the crowd in full voice supporting their team.

Narrated by Club legend Steve Mortimer, the campaign highlights the Club’s connection with its past, present and future, further emphasised with footage of ‘Turvey’ himself alongside his son, former Bulldogs lower grade player and current staff member, Andrew and grandsons, Lachlan and Harrison.

Membership has grown year on year since 2008, achieving a peak of over 15,000 in 2014. However to commemorate the Club’s 80th year celebrations, highlighted by a match back at Belmore Sports Ground, the Club is looking to grown its Membership family wider than ever before.

General Manager – Marketing & Consumer Terrence Trujillo said the video articulated how important Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Members and fans are to the Club and how important the Club is to the community.

“Our members and fans are the centre of the Bulldogs family, and the video celebrates and captures that, particularly the journey and theatre of match day and amazing atmosphere our passionate supporters create,” Trujillo said.

“Our foundations are built on our passionate, proud and loyal Members – and that continues on after 80 proud years”.

“We are calling on all our Members and fans to help us show why they are born&bred and be a part of our 80th year celebrations in 2015”.
