Forward Dale Finucane returns to the Bulldogs side this weekend after missing last week's 19-18 loss to the Gold Coast Titans.

In what can only be described as a disappointing performance from the Bulldogs last week, forward Dale Finucane believes the main areas of their game that they need to improve is their ball control and getting their fair share of possession.

"It was hard to watch the game from home. The main areas that let us down were our completions and our possession. If we fix those areas, we will go along way to getting the result this week," said Finucane.

Finucane returns to the side this week after missing last week's loss due to a dangerous throw tackle from the round 25 loss to the Rabbitohs and for the forward making an impact on his return is an area of focus.

"I want to come back and make a good impression and a good impact," said Finucane.

The past couple of months have been tough for the Bulldogs, winning only two of the last eight, but they have an opportunity this week against a side they have beaten twice this year.

"The back end of the season has been disappointing, but we have been given an opportunity making the eight and an opportunity to prove ourselves," said Finucane.
