It's been a tough season for the Holden Cup side this year, but what a win it was in round 3 when winger Aaron Pene crossed for a hat-trick of tries against the Penrith Panthers.

First try:

The Panthers came up with an error 30m out from their line to hand the Bulldogs possession and the young pups didn’t disappoint. A quick shift from right to left saw Aaron Pene go over in the north-west corner to score.

Second Try:

Off the back of a 70m run from Adam Elliott, the Bulldogs were able to shift the ball out to their left once again and send Aaron Pene over for his second try of the match.

Third Try:

Aaron Pene was able to add to his tally with the left winger registering his hat-trick in the 77th minute. A Lane rocket pass cut out his centre and the winger flew on to the ball to score.
