Outside back Mitch Brown has scored 9 tries this year and of the nine, he was the first try scorer in the match on four occasions.

Round 8 v Newcastle:

A kick from Hodkinson was batted back by Josh Reynolds, picked up by Josh Jackson who then threw a quick pass to Mitch Brown who went over unmarked in the right corner six minutes into the match.

Round 13 v Manly:

After a battle for territory in the opening period, the first points of the night went to winger Mitch Brown who crossed in the 17th minute after Tim Lafai’s quick hands gave Brown room to step past the sliding Manly defence. 

Round 20 v North Queensland:

Quick hands from the left edge on the last tackle gave Brown enough space to scramble over. The conversion from Hodkinson never looked like missing, giving Bulldogs a 6-0 lead in the 15thminute.

Round 25 v South Sydney:

It was a bright start from the boys in blue as just four minutes later a short-side play involving Moses Mbye and Josh Morris resulted in Mitch Brown scoring down the left. Hodkinson knocked the conversion over for a 6-0 lead in the 8th minute.
