This week’s game could be decided in the middle of the field with the Bulldogs forward pack coming face to face with a couple of ex-teammates.

The Tigers sit in 10th position on the ladder on 20 points and will be looking to find form this Sunday against the Bulldogs and no doubt the inspiration and energy will be coming from ex Bulldogs Taupau and Gavet.

Both men joined the Tigers at the end of the 2013 season and have contributed enormously to the Tigers in 2014.

They have on a number of occasions risen to the challenge and lead the Tigers forward pack to victories this year with their energy and not taking a backward step attitude and for the Bulldogs players, they don’t see why this will change on Sunday.

“You won’t expect anything less from those guys,” said Greg Eastwood.

“Those players will be up for the challenge and the occasion,” said Michael Ennis.

Sitting on 20 points amongst the log jam on the ladder and on the back of two losses, five-eight Josh Jackson knows these men will be fired up for a big game, but limiting their go forward will be key to the Bulldogs getting the victory on Sunday.

“A few of the ex-Bulldog boys will be fired up…it’s about limiting their go forward to give us the best chance on Sunday,” said Jackson.
