It is the leading cause of death for Australians aged between 15 and 44 and this weekend the Bulldogs are joining a number of athletes and celebrities at the PPP4SPA 24 hour treadmill challenge, to make SUICIDE prevention everybody’s business.

Headed up by Reni Maitua, the 24 hour event will be kicking off at Maroubra Sports Club on Friday evening at 6pm, with the Bulldogs taking to the treadmill from 3pm on Saturday, June 21.

The family friendly event will be a great opportunity to rub shoulders with a number of celebrities, sporting stars, rugby league players and media personalities, including our Bulldogs stars, Sapphires and Brutus the mascot!

In its second year; PPP - Pleb’s, Pro’s and Personalities, will see seven treadmills occupied by over 500 runners, including six ‘Plebs’ who will be embarking on the challenge to run continuously on a treadmill for an action packed 24 hours, with the hope of raising as much money and awareness for suicide prevention.

Jumping castles, live music, raffles, auctions, market stalls and kids coaching clinics means there will be something for everyone, so come down to Maroubra Sports Club over the weekend and lend your support.

Bulldogs staff will also be getting involved in this amazing event, conquering the night owl shift from 1am to 3.30am. Running spots on the treadmill are still open to community entrants for a $50 donation - http://www.ppp4spa.com.au/register-run
