Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and NSW five-eight Josh Reynolds has tonight been successful in seeking a downgrade on a dangerous throw charge he received in Game 1 of the State of Origin series.

Reynolds was charged after an incident involving Queensland winger Brent tate in the 28th minute of play.

After successfully seeking a downgrade, Reynolds will be cleared to play for the Bulldogs in round 13 against Manly and be eligble for Game 2 of the State of Origin series.
