The Bulldogs NYC side will head into their match against the Roosters full of confidence after a tough win over the Warriors last Sunday in New Zealand.

The young pups registered their second victory of the year with a 31-30 win over the seventh-placed Warriors in what was a real showing of character and fight.

The task doesn’t get any easier for the NYC side with the Roosters currently sitting in fifth position on the ladder and are coming off a big 55-14 win over the Cowboys in Townsville last week.

Last time they met Roosters took the spoils, 44-12 in very wet conditions at Allianz Stadium. Coach Scott Murray will be looking to drive his troops and with the confidence coming out of last week’s win, he’ll be expecting a better result this time around.

The win did come at an expense last week with Captain Adam Elliot suffering an ankle syndesmosis injury that will keep him out for around eight weeks, whilst fullback Kyle Krisanski-Kennedy will be out with a broken hand for 4-6 weeks.

The match kicks off at 5.20pm at ANZ Stadium and all members and fans are encouraged to get out to the game early to support the young Bulldogs.
