The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs NYC side will be looking to jump-start their season this Sunday when they take on St George Illawarra.

The Bulldogs went down to the undefeated Newcastle Knights in Round 8, and now take on the Dragons who have only lost 2 games this entire season. The blue and white have also conceded more than 122 points more than the Dragons.

Pups captain Adam Elliot was selected for NSW U20’s Origin last weekend, notching up over 40 tackles in a tireless display of football. He will need to bring that form into the game this Sunday if the Bulldogs are any chance of an upset.

Current NYC coaches and ex-premiership winners with the Red V back in 2010; Ben Hornby and Dean Young would be pleased with their sides start to the season. Taking the scalps of the Roosters, Rabbitohs, Broncos, Sharks, Tigers and Warriors has placed them equal 2nd on the Holden Cup Ladder.

The last time these two sides met was in Round 21, 2013. The Bulldogs thumped the Dragons 40-12 on that day.
