The Bulldogs NYC side have this afternoon been defeated in the final minutes 32-30 by the Cronulla Sharks at ANZ Stadium.

Four tries to Michael Morgan was not enough with the Sharks crossing in the 78th minute and with Valentine Holmes converting, the Sharks were able to snatch victory.

The first half was all the Bulldogs with Morgan registering a hat-trick before the half-time break and with that, the Bulldogs went to the sheds leading 20-4.

The second half started with the Sharks making a small comeback but when Morgan crossed for his fourth, it looked as though the Bulldogs might have it won with a 24-10 lead.

From there it was the Sharks who scored three tries to get the gap back to 24-22 and whilst the young pups went over for one more try it was then the Sharks who just finished with too much power. With the scores level at 30-all, Sharks fullback Valentine Holmes converted the try with ease to put the Sharks in the lead for the first time in the match.
