The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs today confirm the resignation of Chief Executive Mr Todd Greenberg who will move to the National Rugby League to take on a newly created role as Head of Football.
Bulldogs Chairman Ray Dib has paid tribute to the inspiring leadership Greenberg provided during a tenure that began in April 2008.
“One of the overarching ambitions we have as a Club is to grow and develop our people and ensure there are pathways for them to continue to achieve both personally and professionally,” Mr Dib said.
“Naturally we’re disappointed to see Todd leave but he has a great opportunity ahead of him and we take comfort in the legacy he will leave.
“Todd led the Bulldogs through a period of significant change and enormous growth and thanks to his vision we are well positioned to move forward with confidence. During his time as our CEO he has worked closely with the board of directors to implement our long term strategic plan and we have seen significant growth across all of our commercial programs.”
“As a Club we are in great shape; we just set a record for the highest ever attendance at a regular season NRL game, we lead the game in merchandise royalties and have already exceeded the Membership budget for the year and we firmly believe it’s only a matter of time before the football results take a turn for the better.
“Todd leaves us with a long term strategic plan in place and a very strong platform for a sustainable and successful future both on and off the field.”
Greenberg has mixed emotions about his impending departure from Belmore.
“I am proud of what we have achieved at the Bulldogs over the last few years. This Club has a great history with a wonderful group of men and women working tirelessly both on and off the field,” Mr Greenberg said.
"I have enjoyed many memorable times in the role and would like to thank the board of directors along with the members and supporters who have always showed their unwavering passion for the Bulldogs Football Club.”
