Marked Men: Gold Coast Titans
Friday 9 August 2013 2:21 PM
Check out this list of 'Marked Men' from the Titans that Bulldogs HQ has singled out as players to watch when the Bulldogs take on the Gold Coast Titans this Monday night.
The NSW forward has been arguably one of the Titan’s best this year. He leads from the front and plays the game tough.
He certainly inspires his players with his carries and his aggression in defence. He has a good right foot step, a good offload and will be involved in everything on the field. He is player that leaves nothing in the sheds.
Greg will be doing everything he can to try and get the Titans over the line this week, but for the Bulldogs and especially the Forward pack they will need to match him in all departments to limit his impact.
- Averages 14 runs(130m)
- 34 tackle breaks
- 6 try saves
- 20 offloads
- Averages 36.9m per game after making contact
- 3 try assists
- Averages 20 tackles per game
The former Bulldogs junior has been one of the most improved players in the competition this year. His combination with Albert Kelly has certainly been a highlight for the Titans.
He is a levelled headed player, who plays with a lot of patience and is very calm under pressure.
He has certainly matured a lot over the past 12 months and his strengths to his game are his running game and his kicking game. He has a lovely left foot kick and will do majority of the kicking for the Titans…a handy goal-kicker to.
Defensively he is sound, but it’s been his ability to lead the Titans to many victories through his attack And ball playing ability.
The Dogs will need to apply a lot of pressure to Aiden in both defence and attack.
- Averages 8 runs(64m)
- 10 try assists
- 30 tackle breaks
- 2 40/20s
- Averages 11 kicks per game
- Averages 375.5m per game from his kicking
- 8 line break assists
- Averages 1 missed tackle per game.
