It what was an ideal start for the blue and whites with Captain Jayden Okunbor scoring after just three minutes of play. It was just the start of a painful opening period for the visitors with the Bulldogs running in six first half tries to the Storm’s one with the score 36 – 4 at the break.
The Storm came out in the second half playing with plenty of fight and managed to cross for the opening try of the half. Fortunately for the young Bulldogs they were able to continue their domination and finish off the match as they started.
A very convincing display saw the Bulldogs pass the half-century mark and go on to post a 62-10 victory. The match was played in very hot conditions with the referee allowing drinks breaks mid-way through each half.
