Canterbury League Club is expected to reach venue and licensing capacity by 12 noon on Grand Final day.
To avoid disappointment and overcrowding in the streets, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on behalf of the Canterbury League Club ask all media outlets not to encourage Bulldogs supporters to celebrate grand final day at the Canterbury League Club.
In particular we are strongly discouraging supporters to come back to the League Club post game in the event of a win or a loss, as the League Club will definitely be at capacity and there will be no opportunity at all for any supporters to enter the venue.
A number of street closures will also be in place, meaning there will be no vehicle access to the area surrounding the club either.
The club understands this decision may disappoint a number of members who will miss out on seeing their team after the game; however the safety of our members and supporters is our highest priority and this decision has been made with that in mind.
We thank you in advance for communicating this message on behalf of the club.
