This Friday night will see the Bulldogs take on the Roosters at Allianz Stadium and with plenty of rumblings throughout media circles, CEO Todd Greenberg has called for all attendees to support their team with passion and ensure that the battle takes place on the field between the players.
Greenberg was one of only a handful of people that were here at the time of Sonny-Bill Williams’ departure and has declared that all of the Club have moved on from that time.
“It’s time to move on, five years is a long time in rugby league,” Greenberg said. “Sonny-Bill complied with all the terms related to his release and I can guarantee you everyone at the club now has moved on.
“It is a very different place here, all the coaching staff, the playing group are all different to those that were here at that time.”
With plenty of blue and white supporters set to make their way to Allianz Stadium on Friday night, Greenberg is keen to see all the members and fans enjoy the match for what it will be, a great game of rugby league.
“I encourage all our members and fans to head to the match but I want them to understand that they need to support their team with passion and give everything but make sure you leave the battle between the two sides to the players on the field.”
As much as anyone, Greenberg is hoping to come away with the two points.
“We’ve been up against it and we’d love to get the win on Friday night. My message to all our members and fans is to keep supporting the team and everything will come together.”
