Bulldogs and Chrisco’s Christmas Giving

The Bulldogs once again partnered with the Chrisco Group in 2013 to offer support to those who need it most at Christmas time, with Chrisco generously donating 70 hampers to Bulldogs in the Community partner the Salvation Army Campsie and Ronald McDonald House, Westmead.

Over two days the important deliveries were made. Terry Lamb and new recruit T-Rex called in to the Salvos Welfare Centre in Campsie with 30 hampers which were gladly accepted and will go a long way to ensure disadvantaged families and those experiencing hardship will have something to celebrate over the Christmas period.

On Friday, December 14, Josh Reynolds, Kris Keating and Tim Browne joined forces with the amazing crew from Chrisco headed up by Michael and Liz, to make the special delivery to Ronald McDonald House in Westmead.

Along with the hampers; Josh, Kris and Tim came bearing gifts for the eager group of waiting kids. Bulldogs packs and stuffed toys which were donated by the Bulldogs playing group were the order of the day and well received by all.

The players made themselves at home and despite a long day at training they had a great time playing endless games with the kids on the play equipment well in to the night.

Ronald McDonald Houses provide a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families. During our visit there were families who had travelled far and wide, including Perth and Thursday Island.

The Bulldogs would like to extend our sincere thank you to the Chrisco Group who continues to give so generously and support Bulldogs in the Community’s community partners.
