Bulldogs Surprise Shoppers with 'Secret Santa' Visit

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs players Michael Ennis, Dene Halatau and Krisnan Inu were out and about to play ‘Secret Santa’ for some lucky shoppers in the Bankstown area.

As part of the NRL’s One Community Program, the Bulldogs spread the Christmas cheer at Bankstown Centro, donning santa hats and donating various pre-paid $50 gift vouchers to some lucky shoppers as an early Christmas gift.

Secret Santa is a new initiative in 2012 with NRL players and ambassadors across the game showing "random acts of kindness" in shopping centres and hospitals across the country.

The Bulldogs involvement in Secret Santa is a continuation of what will be a busy Christmas period with a number of community visits scheduled to help spread the Christmas cheer.

On Tuesday afternoon young guns Josh Jackson, Dale Finucane and Moses Mbye were special guests at Canterbury Hospital's Children's ward. Thursday saw Mitch Brown, Trent Hodkinson and Steve Turner welcomed as special guests at Bankstown Hospital's annual children's Christmas party.

This Friday the Bulldogs will combine with Chrisco Hampers to make a special delivery at Ronald McDonald House Westmead to help families in need and on Saturday Joel Romelo and Martin Taupau will join forces with celebrities to visit the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick for Operation Christmas.
