Bulldogs Change Sleeve Sponsor in Round 20

Round 20 on Friday 26th July 2013, marks an old rival NRL clash between the Bulldogs and Eels at ANZ Stadium. This match will see the Bulldog players yet again wearing the Biaggio Signorelli Foundation logo on their sleeve, in place of Doltone House their sleeve sponsor.
Match worn jerseys will be a part of the fundraising for asbestos cancer and auctioned off on Grays Online.
The Biaggio Signorelli Foundation is committed to raising awareness, early detection, treatment and cure for the asbestos-related cancer (Mesothelioma); the Signorelli family’s tribute to their father, founder of the Doltone House venue and catering collection.
Round 20 also marks the eve of the foundation’s inaugural Melbourne gala event to support the cancer. In addition to esteemed company, the evening promises to treat guests to a four course meal and beverages and a fantastic entertainment line up including international success, Tina Arena and celebrity MC, comedian Vince Sorrenti. Tickets are still available at $250 per person for a great cause.
The credibility of the foundation has been captured by the NSW and Federal government with grants totalling $250,000. The foundation has committed close to $1.5m to key achievements include the funding of three research fellowships and funding the National Guidelines for Diagnosis & Treatment of Mesothelioma.
Some of the Foundation’s Board members include Former NSW Premier The Hon. Morris Iemma, radio presenters Jason Morrison 2ue & Glenn Wheeler of 2GB, Keith Cox (Head Chemotherapy nurse at RPA), along with Doltone Houses’ family Directors, Paul Signorelli, Nina Milazzo and Anna Cesarano.
