Bulldogs Captain Michael Ennis and Dene Halatau were joined by Belles twins Kimberley and Kristie on Saturday, November 10 at McDonalds Punchbowl to bring a smile to patron’s faces and raise some important dollars for the annual McHappy Day!
With the aim of reaching its biggest ever fundraising target in 2012, more than 860 McDonald’s restaurants including McDonalds Punchbowl were proud to be involved in raising more than $3 million nationally.
Michael and Dene were hands on participants taking orders at the register, making burgers behind the counter and bucket collecting, whilst Kimberley and Kristie made the drive through a unique experience for customers who got a surprise when they saw the girls at the window.
Funds raised from McHappy Day are donated to Ronald McDonald House charities to assist and extend their services and programs which help seriously ill children and their families, such as the Ronald McDonald Houses and Learning Programs.
