The crowd, the cheers and the feeling that you part of a big community. That is what going to a Bulldogs game is all about. There is a sense of community, being part of an urban family, across different cultures and generations that you can only get when you see the game live.
I have been a Bulldogs member for the last five years, and in that time I have come to appreciate the feeling of being at a live game, catching the bus in to the stadium, picking the best seat in GA, and being part of the cheers – although watching on TV allows for shorter trips to get snacks.
I am most looking forward to seeing all the fans in their blue and white – another sense of community as we make our way to ANZ Stadium to see our boys at play. The matchup between the five-eighths will be one to watch - Josh Reynolds has played great so far this season, especially with that try against the Eels.
The games against the Rabbitohs are always a highlight on the season calendar. These two long-standing teams have always enjoyed a sense of rivalry and similarity between them. Both have long histories and a loyal fan base, all the while playing with a sense of respect for each other.
Predicting a 22-20 win over the Rabbitohs.
